Formed by chance in April 2005, this extreme-energy ensemble earned silver medals three months later at the
International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest in Salt Lake City. Believing passionately in uplifting youth in
harmony, New Release has toured 15 states from Florida to Oregon, leading master classes and coaching at college
campuses, high school quartet adjudications, and a cappella festivals.

The quartet self-proclaimed genius and "cool" geek, Ryan enjoys long, quiet, GPS-navigated trips on uncharted roads and highways.
When he is not hard at work designing websites, you can find him spending time with his beautiful and lovely wife,
Rebecca and their two daughters Alannah & Gabriella. Since finishing a degree in computer forensics, Ryan started
a career at the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center, dashing his future ambitions of winning "The Apprentice"
selling empty bags of Southwest Airlines™ peanuts. Ryan and Joe met one evening in Bowie, MD and started singing
together in many quartet configurations, breweries, and football-themed restaurants Ð thus the inception of New Release.
Joe continues to sing with Ryan is because he sings like a girl. If you are in need of some web work, or can provide him
with a shoulder to cry on, please
contact Ryan!

Shawn is the tall guy in the quartet. Hailing from Ohio, Shawn travels great
distances to amaze you with his debonair flair and magic disappearing pitch pipe. If you've been to any barbershop
event in a 700-mile radius of Ohio, chances are, you have met Shawn. When he is not attending every barbershop event in
the continental United States, Shawn is hard at work on a degree in graphic design, while his own SGT Productions is in
constant demand creating learning tracks for a cappella groups and tree squirrels. On the weekends Shawn indulges in a
little known secret obsession of playing the mouth harp in a country western trio. For more
information about Shawn's learning track business, visit SGT Productions
or contact Shawn personally.

If you have not already met Joe, we can assure you that you have probably heard
him... even if you were in a different time zone! A past student of Towson University, Joe has settled down with his
lovely wife Christy and their daughter Leilani! Joe recently relocated his family to Salisbury, MD where he
joined the Peninsulaires Chapter and began directing the Milford, DE Chapter, amazing
all with his stellar voice and awe-inspiring nostril flares. If Joe wasn't singing weekly then, as you may see in
video and audio clips online, in another life he would either be Arnold Schwarzenegger,
a Texas hold-em world champion, or a trained circus seal catching popcorn in midair.

Noah is the true genius in the quartet. In this age of information, he truly is an "Information Junkie," using
technology to record our every move, word, and thought. When Noah is not
leading tenors in A Cappella Pops, or inputting variables into his palm pilot, you can find him at EVERY Sweet
Adelines event along the Eastern Seaboard. Noah's career as a software engineer took off after graduating from Penn State
University in computer engineering and German. Using his exceptional math skills, Noah has calculated every possible
scenario in the known universe, and it's reported that he can now predict the future. Without Noah, New Release
would probably fall apart (Noah invented BarberGlu® in 1996). He brings not only a passion for harmony, but also
organization, dedication, and Pirate's Booty® to every quartet function.
